This video was produced for the track "Way of the World" that was released as a single in January 2023.
This video a low-fi digital take on work of video artists such as Ira Schneider and Bruce Nauman, where a narrative emerges through a set of analogue televisions despite all the interference and glitching. It describes a world that appears outwardly beautiful at first, but the inherent overcrowding and conflict becomes more apparent over time.
It's based on a Flash-based animation that I put together back when the internet was young. Where the original was based on a bank of six television that looped for about thirty seconds, on a modern PC it's possible to extend to concept to use a dozen videos that each show unique, but interrelated sequence over four minutes.
